Last Book Groups of the Trimester!

Not only did we have TLC spirit week last week but we also had the last book group meetings of the trimester!

The kids at the Ashley Bryan School were working on their final projects for their book groups! They were planning on sharing their projects with their group on skype and the polyberg!

This 5th grade ABS student works on a project for the book The Year of the Boar and Jackie Robinson! She gives that book group two thumbs up!

Here is the "youngers" book group meeting for one of their final times!

And the "middles" group sharing their projects!

There's Ms. G on Isle au Haut leading her group via skype! She is so techy!

One of the ABS first graders drawing a picture of Flat Stanley for her book group! He looks so cute!

And another ABS first grader sharing his picture with the rest of his group on the Polyberg.

The last meetings of the trimester!

Cute little guy on Frenchboro talking about his final project!

I love the hand raising! What other first graders do you know who can take directions from a teacher that is separate from them by miles of ocean! So cool.

And another book group via, our new favorite form of technology!

Mr. H. and his fourth grader on Cliff participating in their final book group!

It was a great trimester of reading for everyone! Round of applause for all the book groups! Can't wait to see what everyone will be reading NEXT trimester!
