Our curriculum is a four-year, standards-based, rotating curriculum designed specifically for multi-grade one- and two- room schools. It is organized by topics to be studied in both Social Studies and Science. Our curriculum has and is still currently being developed collaboratively by the TLC teachers. We are currently in year three of our curriculum.
Most recently, the teachers have been exploring the use of focus questions, inquiry work, and common assessments in the curriculum.
The curriculum is continually developed and revised depending on the needs of the TLC students from year-to-year, so the chart below reflects both the “planned units” for each year (in yellow) and the “actual
units” for the year (in white).
